Why do you hate me so? Pulled the primary drive off to remove the shifter bracket from the rachet lid in order to fabricate a hand shift lever. Of course, in true Caroline fashion, the clutch push rod pulled out of the transmission mainshaft. As most of you probably know, this is a no-no! So, off with the transmission end cap, and of course the clip that supposedly retains the thrust bearing is MIA!
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:
29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss[d] your servant in peace. 30 For my eyes have seen your salvation, 31 which you have prepared in the sight of all nations: 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”
33 The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”
8b We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us,
Have you ever seen or experienced something that is simply too great to be expressed in word or image? The Gateway Arch in St. Louis is definately one of those things. If you've never explored this monument I would highly recomend that you do so, you wont be disappointed!
You ever do something that you just knew wasn't a good idea as you were doing it? You know, like towing a motorcycle down the side of the interstate at 40MPH behind a minivan while holding onto a leather strap that is hooked to the end of a log chain? I thought so.
Chuck proving once again that it doesn't matter what you know, what counts is who you know. When Caroline dropped a valve Chuck selflessly ditched work to haul me and my junk 150mi north for nothing more than gas money! I appreciate you bro! Chuck reminded me what a good friend is and reminded him why he no longer owns a Troublehead.
Christian, Gearhead, Conservative, Republican, in that order. If you view my blog you will likely see pics, text, and video relating to family, motorcycles, religion, friends, art, politics, or anything else that sparks my interest.
