Things I see.

Psalm 73:24-26

24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. 26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Proverbs 30:5-6

5 “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. 6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Commitment

In case you were wondering what it looked like. I swiped this image from Fastlane Tattoo. Click the post title to check em' out.

She freakin hates me!!!

Caroline is making me fight for every minute on the road! Third rear exhaust bolt I've misplaced. A shoddy old repair on the rear engine guard gave up on me. And Ratpan, if you're reading this, you were right! I apparently DO need to counter sink the holes and use flat head screws to keep my rocker box gaskets from leaking. Go on, that deserves a big ol' fat "I tolf you so, dummy"!

A new chariot,

For my somewhat less than trustworthy steed!

Have I mentioned lately......

How freakin cool this guy is?

Boom Sticks!!

Me and a few guys from work took some of our Japanese members out shooting over the weekend. Some of these guys had never shot a gun before, so of course we loaded up a single shot 12ga. with a 3" Magnum deer slug just for laughs!! Shortbus brought along a small arsenal, and Shoe impressed us all with a few recent builds. Turned out to be a good day despite the rain. It is beleived by many that Admiral Yamamoto of the Japanese Imperial Navy once stated, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." I think we successfully illustrated the point.

He made it!

Willy Dawg is all finished with kindergarten. Off to first grade we go.

Caroline lives!!!

Yes, it's true. Caroline lives to fight another day! I put a ton of work into this barge, none of which is highly visible. Just a few steps closer to being truely mine, if you know what I mean. Now, to get her all dirty and ugly with road grime so only I can see the beauty.

P.S. Sorry for the crappy quick pics!

1 Chronicles 16:23-36

23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. 24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. 27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his[e] holiness. 30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!” 32 Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them! 33 Let the trees of the forest sing, let them sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 35 Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.” 36 Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the LORD.”

Don't do it....

Just don't!!! Yet another stator and rotor fall victim to the impact wrench! That's why the warning exhists. These were Cycle Electric components with less than two years of service, cut down in their prime! STOP THE INSAINITY!!!!! This concludes todays rant.

Philippians 1:9-11

9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Somewhere in Indiana

Deep breaths.

Picked up a super cool breather cover from Jr's Cycle Products. Real nice quality, Heavy duty cast part!

Had to make an adapter to fit it to my CV seein as how it was made for a Linkert. That all worked out nicely. I cut a filter screen for it which seems to be too restrictive, need to find a courser mesh screen.

The plan was to bolt this up and make my CV carb beautiful. However, the profound ugliness of the CV may have succeeded in making an otherwise beautiful breather cover a little uglier. I'm pretty sure I like it though. It'll stay. It's just too bad the CV's are so ugly, cause they work sooooo good!

Taiwan Teddy Sucks!!!!

Thats my pet name for V-Twin Mfg for those who didnt already know. Whatever you do, do not buy one of these high flow fuel ports from them! Straight thread=fuel leak. Took some effort to dry it up.
