Made the cut.

This is an upgrade that definately made the cut! In fact, it worked out even better than I expected. After all, who actually expects a Troublehead to stop, right?!? You can see by the wear pattern that the late model caliper contacts much less of the rotor than the bananna caliper did. But, being a much more efficient caliper/master cylinder set up, it provides a great deal more stopping power than what the stock caliper ever could.

  1. The Banana's are cool looking.....to bad they don't stop ya.:)

  2. I've never had much love for the bananna calipers. They never seem to "float" as well as they should. I think I can hide the new caliper and bracket under a bananna cover, gonna look into it before spring.
