I think the scoot may be a very early Scott 'Flying Squirrel' . . . no, I'm not kidding, and I'm not sure if we give Adolf a pass or fail on that one . . . overall though, the report card didn't read well for Mr Schikelgruber, didn't play well with others.
Believe you are right WLP, and it's interesting how that same engine in a modernized form was the basis of a bike in the seventies, that my tired brain can't remember the name of at the moment... Yamaha fans take note of the water cooled stroker from an early era,,,
