Yeah, I got a lot of those too! The trick is to not think of it as a night time photo because your subject is so bright. Technically, you will end up with an "underexposed" image. I produced this one with a 200mm zoom and a shutter speed of 1/340. Apparently its also better to shoot the moon within a half hour of sunset or sunrise. I wouldn't know for sure since it was way after that by the time I figured out how to get a descent shot, lol!!
